My portraits become family heirlooms that can be treasured and handed down through generations.
I work with you to find the right photos to work from. The better the reference material, the better the result. The final piece may use multiple images, such as different facial expression to the body photo – to different backgrounds.
STAGES AND PAYMENT
QUOTE
Email me some images to start a discussion and to help me quote the project. I’ve placed some indicative pricing in the gallery to give you a feel for the investment.
COMPOSITION
A digital, photographic composition will be developed for approval. This will be reviewed and amended before the final portrait sketch is commenced.
A further 25% non refundable payment is required on approval of the composition.
If you decide to discontinue the process at this stage the initial deposit payment will not be refunded.
SKETCH ON CANVAS
Once the photographic composition is approved, a scan of the pencil sketch on the canvas will be presented or emailed to you for approval.
A further 25% non refundable payment is required on approval of the sketch.
PAINTING APPROVAL
During the painting, I’ll send you progress photographs and discuss any feedback or suggestions you have along the way. A photograph of the final piece will be emailed to you for final approval. This is a chance to make any final suggestions or changes.
The final 25% payment is required on approval.
DELIVERY
The final portrait will be sent to you with packing and delivery costs payable prior to dispatch. This will be quoted in each individual case. Insurance during delivery will be your responsibility. And if you’re local to the Adelaide CBD or somewhere near Sellicks Beach, we can work out free delivery or pick up.
OTHER COSTS
Framing expenses are not included in quoted prices. The best result will come from visiting a framing consultant.

DEPOSIT
A non refundable 25% payment is required on commissioning of the portrait.
